Monday's Menu

Mondays Menu - I've found that menu planning reduces my stress during the week. It does so by answering the dreaded "What's for dinner tonight?" question and by saving money since I know exactly what I need to buy at the grocery store. Sometimes it's really hard to come up with a menu each week that meets my daughter's allergy needs. My hope is that we can share our menus here to inspire each other with new menu ideas.

You're supposed to notice the red sparkle heels in this picture! A month or more ago, she told us that she didn't want to wear a dress for Christmas service. She wanted to wear some fancy pants and a holiday shirt. Then, all of the sudden, she decided she wanted to wear a dress. Thankfully, I bought one at a consignment sale in the fall so I had the dress. We drove all the way to Target to buy some shoes....when we pulled into the parking lot, I remembered that I had also bought some red sparkle shoes at the consignment sale! Bulls Eye! We bought some black tights and headed back home. Ever since she saw the red sparkle shoes for her dress, she's been asking to wear them. Her school had went on a field trip to an amazing kid's concert so I let her wear the shoes to the concert. This is the outfit she picked out!

If you're wondering, the dog is a life-size magnet of our friend's dog!

Monday:  Quinoa Chili (I'll post this soon) with braided cheese bread

Tuesday: Spaghetti Pie (I still haven't made this off the old menus); buy the buy-one-get-one pizzas at Whole Foods for the freezer

Wednesday:  Bun-less burgers with whole wheat rolls

Thursday:  leftovers

Friday:  Tuna Casserole (this is a huge hit with my husband and me....hit or miss with my daughter)

Saturday:  leftovers

Sunday:  french bread casserole (again, I still haven't made this off the other menus)

Please share your menus!
