Update on the move

It's been a whirlwind of a week. One week ago today the movers came and loaded all of our stuff into their truck to then unload a zip code away. It was a very bittersweet day as it meant leaving our old home and friends to come to a new one.

It also meant that we had to begin making our new home "ours" which I knew was going to be a TON of work. I had the old house organized perfectly to maximize its efficiency (it was tiny). In the new house, I have to figure all that out again.

The good news is there are curtains up in our daughter's room. The kitchen has been completely unpacked for days. The living room looks like a living room. The basement only has a few boxes left to unpack.

Overall, we're progressing....but it's still a slow work-in-progress.

Since we just picked up our new camera a day ago, I don't have pictures to post of the house yet so here's cute one of me and my husband!
