Thirteenth Post in "tuesdays with Morrie" series: Forgiveness

And the end of the series nears closer.....

The Twelfth Tuesday: We Talk ABout Forgiveness
"'There is no point in keeping vengeance or stubbornness. These things ... I so regret in my life. Pride. Vanity. Why do we do the things we do'" (Pg. 164)?

"'It's not just other people we need to forgive, Mitch,' he finally whispered. 'We also need to forgive ourselves'...'For all the things we didn't do. All the things we should have done. You can't get stuck on the regrets of what should have happened. That doesn't help you when you get to where I am'" (Pg. 166).

Forgiveness is so important to relationships, and it is so, so hard to do! But when we don't forgive, it hangs on our hearts and nags at us.

I wish forgiving others and ourselves was easier to do! Relationships would be so much easier if we could forgive in the blink of eye. However, we can't forgive easily. It takes time, and it takes effort.

How good are you at forgiving?
