Take Time to Care: Watch a food documentary a month

I know we're all busy but, considering we can't live without food, it seems to me like we should all take a little interest in where our food comes from.

For example:
1. can you tell me the primary seed supplier to the farmers of the USA?
2. can you tell me what the difference is between organic, local, and regular foods?
3. can you tell me how our beef is raised?
4. can you tell me if the government pays differently for different crops?

If you don't know the answers to these questions, you might want to watch a few documentaries! It's simple, just turn on your tv or computer and relax (if you can after learning some of the information!).

Here are a few I like:
King Corn (viewable on Netflix; entertaining and informative)
The Future of Food (a little dry, but it's fascinating)
Food Inc. (viewable on Netflix, made for the masses)

Have you seen any of these? What did you think of their messages?
