Friday Food Plan: A week at the beach!!!

I'm sooo excited! We're going to be taking a vacation...on the beach! There are two very exciting things about this vacation:

1. We'll be in a condo with a fully stocked kitchen!!! I can cook ahead if I want to, but I don't have to!!!! Whooo-Hooo!! I will have a full-sized refrigerator so that I don't have to worry about keeping a cooler cold enough in a hotel room!

2. We're driving and not flying so I can pack as much food as I want to pack and not have to lug it through the airport, worry about crazy delays where I won't have enough food on-hand, or feed her only snack style foods for an entire day of travel.

I'm sure you can see why this vacation will be a complete vacation...one with very little stress and lots of relaxation! So here's my menu for the week:

Saturday:
Breakfast: at home while packing...we'll see what she wants
Lunch: Cheese and jelly sandwich (in the car to the beach!!!)
Dinner: Baked ziti with crunchy bread and broccoli (I'm going to make this Friday at home)

Sunday:
Breakfast: mocha chip muffins
Lunch: goat cheese ravioli
Dinner: hot dogs/steak

Monday:
Breakfast: Toast with cream cheese and jelly
Lunch: tuna sandwich
Dinner: pizza (bringing cooked pizza from Whole Foods)

Tuesday:
Breakfast: yogurt and apple bar
Lunch: tuna and crackers / steak salad
Dinner: left-over ziti and crunchy bread


Wednesday:
Breakfast: mocha chip muffin
Lunch: cheese and jelly sandwich
Dinner: bean and cheese buns

Thursday:
Breakfast: toast and cream cheese with jelly
Lunch: pizza (bringing cooked pizza from Whole Foods)
Dinner: pasta with veggies



Friday:
Breakfast: yogurt and apple bar
Lunch: grilled cheese
Dinner: sloppy joes

Saturday:
Breakfast: blueberry muffin
Lunch: cheese and jelly sandwich
Dinner: nachos

Of course, with each meal, we'll have veggies and fruits....I'm just waiting to see what I can buy when I get to the beach to decide the sides!
